It brings me back to my tween days and birthday parties…
Never have I ever kissed a boy on the lips! Never have I ever held hands during a movie!
Well, those days are long gone, but this game is still a fun one to bring back around!
Since we are all about the wicked healthiness over here, let’s make it less about holding hands and kissing and more about WORKING OUT AND EATING!

Never Have I Ever…
Run a marathon.
I really like training for something (and running, which is important) and this is something that’s on my radar. I’m a little scared, though. Well, more than a little. I have my doubts about whether or not I can do it and whether or not I want to devote just about every exercise second to running. I would really try and stick to my strength training too, but do I have the time? Marathoners out there, help me out.
Done a fitness competition
Guys, I almost signed up for one in April. The only thing holding me back was cost. Those things sure can get expensive! The tan, the bling, the shoes…not typically my thing but hey, I could play it up! I love weight training and I actually enjoy planning out my meals and nutrition – even if it means being strict with what I eat and when. I kinda view it as a science experiment to see how my body responds? Weird, I know. This is definitely on my bucket list – I think it would be a great challenge and fun experience!
Taken a cooking class
Taking a cooking class seems like so much fun. I’d love to do this as a date night. Even though Dan’s cooking pretty much starts and ends with mac and cheese and eggs, I think he’d be up for it! The whole thing just sounds playful and silly. Well, I guess playful wouldn’t necessarily be a good thing if knives and fingers are involved. Maybe I should take it a bit more seriously.
Hired a trainer
I would like to, and am definitely considering doing so in the months before my wedding!
Done a juice cleanse
I see a lot of juice cleanse buzz around the blog world…but no. I may be missing out on something great here, but still no. Plus, I am too considerate of other people to expect them to deal with me when I haven’t chewed anything all day. I do have a juicer, though. I really should use that puppy.
Participated in a fun run
Color run, foam run, mud run – haven’t done any of these. Am I missing out?
Hosted a dinner party
I love to cook for people, and sure, I’ve had friends over for dinner, but not in an official “this is a dinner party” way where I show that I can make things match and have nice finishing touches and make an evening out of a meal and all that. I’m up to the task!
Eaten a smoothie for a meal
See “juice cleanse” above. Smoothie = snack.
Bought workout clothes at full price
I purchased a pair of running leggings at Target once. They weren’t on sale. I returned them the next day out of the sheer guilt and horror and hit up TJ Maxx to buy less expensive ones. I’m a little crazy like that. I just can’t wrap my head around paying full price!
Left a restaurant with leftovers
All right, maybe I have once or twice – maybe – but if I have, I can’t remember. I always eat everything on my plate. My appetite is ridiculous. I get portioning out leftovers if you’re making food at home, or leaving some Chinese take out for the next day, but in a restaurant? I’m not saving any for later…No food left behind!
I’ll stop there, even though I’m having tons of fun…I know you all have lives to lead and things to do! Sigh.
