Hey! Happy Thursday.

This week is cruising on by over here.

It’s been a minute since we chatted and shared what’s going on in our lives, hasn’t it? So, here’s a snapshot of what’s going on with me currently. I saw this on the lovely Hungry Meets Healthy and it just felt right! Share what you’re up to in the comments so that I can get caught up.

Here’s what I’m currently…

Working on…

Recording my first vlogs! Dan got me a tripod and a remote for my phone and I haven’t used them yet. I’m currently in the brainstorm phase. Any ideas or tricks to making good videos?

Looking forward to…

Passover in NYC! Bring on the Matzah! I’ll be spending time with my mom, sister, and cousins and whooping it up!

Outlander. Duh. I’m still on book two but have already picked up book three from the library so that I can’t begin it immediately upon finishing this one. I’m addicted. I’ve got my mom hooked, too!

Bloodlines on Netflix. I haven’t quite figured it out but I’m intrigued…Dan and I have been watching it together and I’m glad WE have a show WE like. It’s got the mystery/investigation thing going on for him, and the Kevin Chandler (Coach Taylor from Friday Night Lights)/Key West thing going on for me. Deal.

Like Mother Nature didn’t get the memo that spring is here. Come on, girlfriend. Get with the program!

This cleaned up strawberry shorcake goodness. I mix cottage cheese, a strawberry coconut flour muffin, and fresh strawberries. It’s fresh, sweet, healthy, filling…and so yum!

Wait, what am I NOT planning right now? I’m in the midst of planning a wedding, a redo trip to Savannah in April, and a 17 day trip to Europe with a teacher friend and 22 students this summer! I can’t wait to share more about this soon!) Lately it feels like I’m more busy with planning than doing!

Our new (free) couch. You guys, I wish you could plant yourself on this miracle of a couch and see for yourselves. I’m in awe. Before this, we had a tiny little futon that was in no way, shape or form, meant for lounging, cuddling, napping, vegging, Netflixing. This new couch is made for allllll dat.

A leeeetle bit of my tax return! First up? These pink workout capris. Because sometimes a gal needs a pop of pink! (This girl less than others, but still).

Morning workouts with Dan. One of his coworkers has actually been joining us and that’s been fun too! We’ve been crushing it! Who knows, maybe I’ll whip the entire PD into shape! ? I couldn’t resist sharing this pic on the Insta after our workout and coffee date!

Selecting a PCP for my health insurance. (Don’t freak out Mom, I’ll do it!) Man, I just find this task UH NOY YING!

Applying to some local restaurants. I didn’t want to go back to restaurant life after teaching but I miss the fun…and the fast cash. ? It might be a nice balance with the teaching and tutoring I’m doing.

Don’t forget to check out the rest of the Thinking Out Loud fun!

Rarely is the acronym PCP and Mom in the same sentence and considered a good thing lol.
And I’m sorry, but I’m asleep on your couch at the moment. But REALLY excited for you to get your Savannah trip! It will be even better weather for it then, too ?

That couch looks EPIC. Mine is in no way, shape, or form comfortable for lounging. I bought it to look good, but I’m kind of regretting that decision because it’s not all that pleasant to sit on. Not that I watch all that much TV, but that might actually be the reason ?

Look at your rock start couch! I love it!
Excited about your videos! A remote and tripod sound like a great place to start 🙂

I’m currently reading Paris by Edward Rutherfurd. I really enjoy his books and this one is no different. I have 150 pages to go and I can’t wait to find out what will happen to the different families.
