Are you a Monday hater?
Well, Mondays get a bad rap, but really, they provide an opportunity to start fresh and get the week off to a great start. I love that about Mondays!
I’m a firm believer that a positive life is achieved through positive thoughts – I don’t think it’s possible to live a truly positive life if your mind is full of negativity. Honestly, when people ask me the #1 thing to do in order to be healthier, more fit, or happier – I always start with THE MIND. Your mind must be a welcoming home for happy thoughts – and must shut the door on the dark thoughts that come knocking – if you want a shot at having an amazing day, let alone life.
But, let’s be honest, positive thoughts don’t always come to you – maybe your brain is telling you “UGH MONDAY, you’re the worst. I hope I can make it through this day!” I totally have those moments, good gosh, but I try not to let these moments take over.
When your happy home of a brain cracks the door open for negative thoughts to come in and visit, it’s really helpful to have some positive mantras on standby to slam that door shut and rock your day.
I hope that at least one of these hits home with you. Keep it with you throughout the day, the week, the month – as long as you need – and let it sink in! A positive mantra could be the difference between a wonderful day and an awful one. And those days? They add up to a lifetime.
